Cadbury Popping Mini Eggs

Easter weekend is finally over and my girlfriend has returned home. I'm crashing down from a sugar high...all those chocolate eggs...all that sugar...now I'm craving more! I still have one more bag of these Cadbury Popping Mini Eggs.

This is the first year I've had them and my goodness are they addictive. They have a crispy candy shell, a creamy chocolate centre and then the surprise at the end, popping candies that snap, crackle and pop in your mouth. It reminds me of when we were little and we would buy little packets of rocket candy. Ah...the memories...

  1. So interesting! I've never heard of these, but they sound quite interesting... (plus I love all things Cadbury, so how could they not be good?)

  2. I was craving those mini eggs and finally bought a dark chocolate pack at the video store yesterday. I will probably pick up one of those with the pop rocks in it since I'm craving those, now, too!

  4. I had them about a month ago when another flight attendant gave me a small bag. Luckily that's all it was because YUM!
Remember that once you eat something sweet, your tongue will want more. Drink a glass of water to wash away the sweet and find something else to do. That's the only thing I can say. Good luck. LOL

  7. My son who will be turning 1 next week found one of his sisters mini eggs this morning. The boy has never had chocolate. I saw something in his mouth and when I pried it open I saw it. Boy was he grinning ear to ear. Stinker.

  8. mmm. LOVE the mini eggs. And I'm so sad. They're one of the candies that NO ONE puts on clearance at the end of the season. BLEH.

And they're so good used in chocolate chip cookies instead of chips :)

  11. That's the thing with me. I haven't tried them before, but I'm afraid that the pop element would be an undesirable one, considering I'm a big fan of the original.
