Cabbage soup diet

I haven't posted in a very long while but I'm going to try posting more often. I'm still working part time and oh so busy juggling family and work. Last week I went on a low calorie, low fat and low carb diet. I hated the soup which is probably why I only lost 6lbs instead of the promised 10-17lbs. It's quite similar to the famous cabbage soup diet. Today I thought I would try modifying it and will try the diet again this week. 

This is my version.

Half a head of cabbage
4 stalks of celery
Medium onion
1lb bag of carrots
Half of a rotisserie chicken including the bones
Garlic
5 tomatoes

Season to taste. I used a bit of Montreal steak spice in mine.

Chop everything into small pieces.

I sauteed everything then threw it into the crockpot for 5 hours.

I'll give an update next week and let everyone know how much I lost with this soup.
